Access to health services
WITH A HEALTH INSURANCE CARD (TIS)
- Full access to all health services.
- You can make an appointment for a health problem, or for prevention, smoking cessation, weight loss, hip replacement, assisted reproduction, etc. Appointments can be made for medical consultations, check-ups, treatments, prevention and surgery.
- Health cards from other autonomous communities are also valid.
- A TIS from Andalusia or anywhere else in which the SNS (National Health System) appears somewhere is perfectly valid here and that person should be given all the attention as a displaced person.
WITHOUT A HEALTH INSURANCE CARDS(TIS)
Without TIS we lose ALL health services except care for emergency health problems, pregnancy or minors (as long as you are not a tourist).

- In case of medical emergency: We can only make an urgent appointment in person, and it is also billed.
- Access for pregnant women to the health system without TIS: Pregnant women can go to their nearest health centre. The service will not be billed as long as they are not a tourist.
- Children under the age of 18 can go to their nearest health centre, as long as they are not tourists. To access the health system, they must present a school certificate and a passport or identity card.
